We offer a wide range of services including PC and laptop repairs and upgrades, software setup, network configuration, virus removal, security assessments, data backup and recovery, smart home peripheral setup, and tablet and smartphone support. We also assist with legacy hardware and software, as well as any odd technology-related tasks. If you're not sure whether we can help, please contact us for more information.
We primarily operate in the South-East Brisbane suburbs; however, we can also provide support in other areas for a small additional call-out fee. Please refer to our service area for details.
We charge $110 (inc. GST) for the first hour and $49.50 (inc. GST) for each additional half-hour for on-site service. This price does not include any parts that may be required to fix the problem. For jobs that require off-site labour—such as data recovery, system rebuilds, or unusual issues—we provide fixed quotes instead of hourly rates. We do not charge call-out fees or include any hidden fees. Most importantly — *NO FIX, NO FEE!

We accept cash (Australian Dollars) and any Australian-issued or most international chip or magstripe cards with a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express logo, as well as bank-issued EFTPOS chip cards. We also accept digital contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Android Pay. Approved customers can pay via direct bank transfer.
It depends. In many cases, getting your computer back in order only requires a professional cleanup and a few tweaks. Other times, it may be as simple as replacing a single component, such as a power supply or hard drive (even high-quality parts are affordable these days). No matter the issue, we’re committed to providing the best solution to suit your needs and budget. At Computer 4U, we're not salespeople—we refuse to upsell, unlike many other repair shops.
Yes. We provide a 14-day service warranty on all work completed on-site or in our workshop. In addition, every part supplied by us comes with at least a 1-year standard warranty. Some products include 3-year, 5-year, or even lifetime warranties.
Please ensure you have a current data backup. Even if the service isn’t related to the data stored on your device, we recommend having a backup, as we’re not responsible for data loss. Also, please have all necessary logins and passwords ready if required, to avoid delays. Lastly, ensure your pets are secured.
There are some services we do not provide, including Apple Mac repairs, enterprise server support, and electrical work. If you're unsure whether we can help, please contact us for more information.
